Meet Our Team

Dr. Benjamin's creative and skillful work in the field of esthetic dentistry allows his patients to move beyond traditional dental care and create a smile perfectly tailored to each individual. Such a smile can lead to higher self-esteem, confidence, and a boost to interpersonal skills.

Shawn is the kind, smiling face that greets you for your "new look" and handles all insurance, billing and scheduling with a personal touch. Shawn brings 10 years of dental experience and has been serving Dr. Benjamin and his patients since 2018.

Tricia has worked as a dental assistant since 1979. She has worked with Dr. Benjamin since 1983. In 1999 she also took the job as office manager. Tricia went to school for dental assisting in 1978 at Westchester School.

Jeanine's 20 year career in the dental field, her strong artistic sense, and her innate intelligence have made her an integral part of our team since 1997.

It is with great pleasure that we would like to introduce an addition to our hygiene team here at Benjamin Smile: Amy Fernandes. Amy has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and earned her degree from Hudson Valley Community College. Prior to dental hygiene she received her Bachelor’s degree in social work from West Virginia Wesleyan. She is an ongoing member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Her favorite part of working in dentistry is caring and providing valuable, comfortable healthcare services while establishing trusting relationships with patients. She loves attending continuing education classes to better serve her patients.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends on Lake George in the summer. She has 3 boys who are very active in sports. Her interests are in health and wellness. She enjoys cooking and traveling.
